Role Overview

A commercial and industrial concrete contractor is hiring a Concrete Construction Foreman to lead field crews on projects across the United States. The role is based out of Tulsa — you report to headquarters and then travel out to project sites, with lodging covered and a daily per diem paid throughout. This is a hands-on leadership position: planning the day's work, setting the crew up correctly, and holding the line on quality and safety from layout through to stripping. The client is moving quickly and is motivated to hire immediately.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and lead concrete crews on commercial and industrial projects
• Plan and organise daily work assignments to maximise crew productivity
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings
• Verify site layout, elevations, grades, and formwork before concrete placement
• Direct forming, reinforcing steel installation, placement, finishing, curing, and stripping
• Schedule labour, equipment, and materials to complete assigned scope on programme
• Monitor workmanship against project specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate day to day with the Superintendent, Project Manager, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers
• Maintain accurate daily reports covering manpower, production, equipment usage, and safety observations
• Identify and resolve field issues before they hit the schedule
• Run daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses; enforce company safety policy and OSHA regulations
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members
• Support project planning and sequencing to meet production targets

What We're Looking For

Essential

• 1+ years' commercial concrete construction experience
• 1+ years leading concrete crews
• Working knowledge of formwork systems, reinforcing steel placement, concrete placement and finishing, site layout and grading, and curing procedures
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced field environment
• Willingness to travel extensively across the US from a Tulsa base
• High school diploma or equivalent — relevant hands-on concrete and crew leadership experience is accepted in lieu of formal education

Preferred

• OSHA 30 certification
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience with tilt-wall, structural concrete, paving, or large commercial slabs
• Ability to operate construction equipment (forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers)
